Shirley Westeinde

Chair of the Westeinde Group of Companies, which specializes in Development, Property Management, Leasing and Green Building Design and Development.

Mrs. Westeinde is a well-respected member of the business community and has led a variety of key economic Development and Health/Humanitarian Boards and Organizations. She currently sits on a number of Boards, including the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and is the Chair of the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research.

She has received numerous awards for her leadership and accomplishments, including a Women of Distinction Award fro the YM_YWCA, the Women’s Business Achievement Award, the B’nai Brith Canada Award, an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Ottawa, and the Biomedical Science Ambassador Award.
