100 Years of Care

Happy Birthday Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre!

Welcome to the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre’s centennial year!

In 2010, the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre celebrates 100 years of care to our community -

a significant milestone in caring for those with mental illness.

Throughout the year, events will take place at the Carling Avenue Campus to highlight the centennial.

The main event for clients and their families and the public will be the Open House on Saturday,

May 8, 2010 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Another integral component of the year’s celebration is The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental

Health’s Annual Inspiration Awards Gala on Friday, March 5, 2010. It is an opportunity to highlight

the tremendous achievements of people who have served as models of hope and inspiration in

their efforts to overcome mental illness and who have made positive contributions to their community.
